FIPA End of Arm Tooling

Tooling Grippers, gripper fingers, gripper systems, and air-nippers, FIPA's Robotic End-of-Arm-Tooling range has an extensive range of components and accessories. With the FIPA catalogue Enkosi are able to the implement your production processes exactly as required.

This includes:

1. Gripper fingers, grippers and complete gripper systems as well work-pieces with complex shapes and designs.
2. Quick changer systems, aluminium profiles as well as clamping and connecting elements.
3. Pneumatic air nippers for cutting, holding, breaking, bending, punching and stretching.

Gripper Assembling
Enkosi can provide a complete gripper system; planning, design, construction and installation.

Turnkey solutions are provided, including the planning, design, construction and installation of gripper systems, together with the popular and comprehensive range of components.

Customers have the freedom of choice and Enkosi strive to a provide dedicated service with professional advice and consultation.

Quick-change systems
Quick-change systems connect the robot to the gripper system so gripper systems can be changed quickly. One-half of the quick-change system always stays on the robot, whilst its counterpart is permanently connected with the gripper system. Final placement on the robot occurs by merging the two parts together. FIPA’s has successfully combined simple and rapid handling with the highest possible safety.

Quick-change systems provide for:

Safe: Connections remain solid despite high loads and frequent exchange of the gripper systems
Speed: When a new gripper system is mounted on the robot, alignment is preserved so that very little time is required for readjustment after each exchange.
Cost Effective: Keeping downtime of machines as short as possible.

Universal gripper components
Enkosi supply FIPA’s designed and built gripper systems that are universally compatible, ensuring limitless flexibility. Universal gripper components provide a wide range of possible uses.

Variability: FIPA suction fingers have two connection options that let the user select the best possible vacuum connection. Either at the end of the shaft or directly at the vacuum cup.

Functionality: A rotating connector that reduces the number of individual parts, eliminates the possibility of leaks, and simplifies positioning of the vacuum cup.

Reliability: Plastic guide bushes ensure a completion of movements. FIPA is the first in introduce this system for guiding spring-loaded suction fingers. Eliminates clutching of suction fingers while loads occur on an angle.

Compatibility: Industry-standard clamping diameters of 10, 14, and 20 mm provide for compatibility outside of FIPA‘s modular system.

Active gripping elements
The strong one, the precise one, the sensitive one, the small one, and the smart one with grip detection: Enkosi's modular product line is guaranteed to have just the right FIPA gripper for every workpiece and every product.

FIPA is focused on the challenges of constructing grippers. This ensures FIPA’s product line contains the right gripping elements for virtually any requirement and any work piece.

Modern gripping technology:

1. High efficiency with the dual-action principle.
FIPA sprue grippers utilize two transversal pneumatic pistons to apply force directly onto the jaws. The result: more force, less frictional loss, and higher reliability.
2. High-strength coated aluminium
All FIPA gripper elements are made of a high-strength aluminium alloy that is given an additional galvanic surface coating (Hart-COAT®). The result: extremely high stability with low weight, high wear resistance, and a long service life.
3. Indirect grip detection increases safety (models GR04.091 and GR04.111A)
The grip detection function provides feedback as to whether a part was gripped or not. The result is maximum process safety, less rejections, and no damage to the sprue tool.
A magnet and sensor are arranged so that the magnetic sensor will not trigger if the jaws successfully grasp a part when they close.
However, if the jaws do not grip the part and close completely, then the magnetic field will come into close proximity with sensor. The controller then indicates that no part was gripped.

Air nippers
The right cutting tool for every cut. Air nippers, cutting shears, cutting inserts

Uncompromising when it comes to quality. Air nippers from FIPA are produced to the highest precision down to the smallest detail – maximum service life and optimized reliability included.

FIPA has a full line of pneumatic air nippers for plastics, metals, and much more. FIPA set standards for quality.

1. Aluminium housings save weight, thereby enabling usage of smaller robots.
2. High-precision housings also ensure that the blades are positioned and guided with precision.
3. A large selection of blades with a variety of geometries makes sure that FIPA can quickly deliver the ideal solution from stock for just about any situation that may arise.
4. FIPA can produce customized cutting inserts – even if you only need one unit!
